We are starting Mahjong Mondays at Wade Baptist on October 12th! Please read the information below carefully before signing up. 🀄 NEW TO MAHJONG? Beginner Mahjong Lessons — These will be available on dates when we have an instructor-led Mahjong lesson followed by guided play. When available, this will be indicated in the registration process. Beginner instruction will be limited to 8 players per session. When you register, please indicate that you are new to Mahjong and need a beginner lesson. - The first 8 people who register as needing a beginner lesson will receive a confirmation text that they have one of the 8 beginner spots. - Once all 8 beginner spots are filled, the beginner option will be removed from registration. Because there may be a brief delay before the registration system updates, additional people may occasionally be able to select the beginner option after all 8 spots have been filled. If this happens, those individuals will be notified and placed on the list for a future beginner session. - All supplies will be provided for beginners. 🀄 NEED A REFRESHER? If you've played before but would like a refresher on the basics without participating in the guided play, you're welcome to register for Open Play and listen in on the beginner lesson before joining the open play tables. This does not count as one of the 8 beginner lesson spots. 🀄 ALREADY PLAY MAHJONG? Open Play is for players who feel comfortable playing independently but may still have an occasional question. Please bring your Mahjong set and NMJL card if you have them. We'd rather have too many sets than not enough! 📋 EVENT DETAILS - Registration is required. - If the event is full, please join the waitlist. - If you register and later find you can't attend, please cancel your registration as soon as possible so your spot can be offered to someone on the waitlist. IMPORTANT: There are only 8 Beginner Mahjong Lesson spots. Selecting “Beginner Mahjong Lesson” does not guarantee a lesson spot. The first 8 people who select this option will receive a text confirmation. 📅 CANCELLATION POLICY If you need to cancel, please do so through Bam Good Time at least 24 hours before the event, if possible, so your spot can be offered to someone on the waitlist.
