Mahjong Mondays at Wade Baptist

Join us for Mahjong Mondays at Wade Baptist! This Open Play event is designed for players who feel comfortable playing independently but may still have an occasional question. Groups will play at their own pace in a relaxed, social environment. Please bring your Mahjong set and NMJL card if you have them. We'd rather have too many sets than not enough! Mahjong is a tile game that combines skill, strategy, and luck. American Mahjong became popular in the 1920s after adaptations were made from the traditional Chinese version. In the late 1930s, the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) was formed, creating standardized rules and introducing the official National Mahjongg League Card still used today. To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, Mahjong Mondays will follow NMJL rules. Tables will play in a relaxed, social format, and occasional house rules or minor adjustments may be used to help games run smoothly and keep play moving. 📋 EVENT DETAILS - Registration is required. - If the event is full, please join the waitlist. - If you register and later find you can't attend, please cancel your registration as soon as possible so your spot can be offered to someone on the waitlist. 📅 CANCELLATION POLICY If you need to cancel, please do so through Bam Good Time at least 24 hours before the event, if possible, so your spot can be offered to someone on the waitlist.
